Subject: Animated Filmmaking with Alex Williams on Wednesday 17th February

Good Evening

You may recall that I wrote to you about 12 days ago asking if you could help me identify a speaker who could give a talk on How to make a short-animated film? I would like to thank everyone who replied to me whether it was to say that they could not help or to suggest possible speakers.

I am delighted to be able to tell you that I have secured the services of Alex Williams who is inviting people to watch his YouTube video and then he will run a Question-and-Answer session on Wednesday 17th February. This is a FREE event open to all and we have organised it in partnership with the IAC. This was all instigated by a request from Brian of Mylor Movie Makers

The structure for the evening is for registered people to access the event via Zoom from 7.15pm onwards with Alex’s film being shown at 7.35pm and then the Q&A Session is scheduled to start at 8.00pm. The Zoom link will be e-mailed out 1 or 2 days before the event

I have set up an Eventbrite listing https://www.eventbrite.com/e/animated-filmmaking-with-alex-williams-tickets-139822012403 and my colleague Paula has set up an event on Facebook and the link for this is https://www.facebook.com/events/234662624823587 which will ultimately lead you back to the Eventbrite listing to register

Please do share these links as widely as possible whether it is on your websites and Facebook pages or your Twitter or Instagram accounts. I am attaching a graphic produced by my colleague Paula that you may wish to use. Please share as widely as possible and this event is open to all Film Club members but also to the public
